About

I’m Sepideh Tavakoli, a 3D apparel designer blending fashion and technology to push creative boundaries. My journey started in Iran, where I studied Sports Engineering, fascinated by how clothing can enhance an athlete’s performance. That passion led me to fashion design, where I could merge functionality with creativity, crafting garments that move with the body and support movement.

Eager to dive deeper, I moved to the U.S. to earn my Master’s in Fashion Design, specializing in digital apparel development and 3D design. Balancing work at Bloomingdale’s with my studies, I gained firsthand insight into what people want to wear and why, shaping my approach to design and leadership.

Now, as a Senior 3D Apparel Designer at Nike, I create activewear for men, women, and kids, collaborating with teams worldwide to bring fresh ideas to life. My work is about more than aesthetics—innovation, movement, and function, ensuring that every design serves a purpose.

Beyond work, I love exploring new tech, hiking, and connecting with creative communities. I’m always looking for ways to blend practicality with innovation, whether through digital fashion, virtual clothing for games, or redefining how we experience apparel in the digital age.
